Who we are

Millimeter Arkitekter is a firm of architects founded in 1996, and its head office is in Stockholm.

We offer broad expertise in architecture and interior design both in Sweden and in the international arena. Our enormous experience of analyses and technically advanced planning are just two of our top fields, helping us in our work of providing maximum benefits to our clients while keeping our solutions as economical as possible. We are now one of the most experienced firms of architects in Sweden working with commercial properties and premises: hotels, restaurants, shops, offices and care and nursing. We work with existing premises, as well as offering renovation and new construction services for buildings of all sizes.

We consider ourselves to be the leading hotel planners in Northern Europe, with more than 75 hotel projects under our belt; or, to put it another way, more than 9000 hotel beds. A lot of our projects have involved production of brand-building architecture, concepts creating corporate profiles for hotels, offices, shops, restaurants and cafés. A worldwide gym concept is also on our list of achievements.

In the private sector, we work with both renovation and new construction projects for apartments, houses and summer residences, as well as complete interior design solutions. Our network also includes landscape architects, furniture designers, lighting planners, product designers, graphic designers, project managers and designers, all of whom can work together to produce complete solutions.

Our primary projects are based in Scandinavia but implemented throughout Europe. Millimeter is focusing on reducing the impact of buildings on the environment and human health, a practice known as green building.
